Traditionally, Orange Squash is a non-alcoholic beverage that consists of orange juice that has been diluted by fresh-squeezed lemon juice. It is a relatively refreshing, delicious beverage. So is its alcoholic counterpart the Orange Squash Cocktail. If you like ordinary Orange Squash then you'll absolutely love the Orange Squash Cocktail. Here's how to make one:

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 3 oz. Citrus-flavored Vodka
  • 10 oz. Orange Juice
  • Pint Glass
  • Ice
  • Lemon Juice
  • 1 Slice of Lemon (optional garnish)

    Making Your Own Orange Squash

  1. Step 1

    Fill your pint glass about 1/3 full of ice.

  2. Step 2

    Add the citrus-flavored vodka to the pint glass.

  3. Step 3

    Add a dash of lemon juice to the pint glass.

  4. Step 4

    Fill the pint glass the rest of way with orange juice.

  5. Step 5

    Stir the contents of the pint glass to combine everything thoroughly.

  6. Step 6

    Garnish with a slice of lemon if so desired.

  7. Step 7

    Serve immediately.

Tips & Warnings
  • Use as little ice as you possibly can while still keeping the drink cold. The more ice you use, the more your drink will be diluted, and the less flavor your Orange Squash Cocktail will have.
  • Don't use fresh-squeezed orange juice with pulp. It doesn't really lend itself to this cocktail as well as other kinds of orange juice.
  • Always drink responsibly and in moderation.
  • Never drink and drive.
