Interracial dating is becoming more and more common these days. Almost everyone is friends with or knows someone who has dated someone outside of their race. Love knows no color, so interracial dating might be what's right for you. You never know unless you give it a try.

Things You'll Need:

  • open mind
  • internet connection if you'd like to try interracial dating websites

    Finding an Interracial Boyfriend

  1. Step 1

Keep an open mind. If you are interested in dating a man outside of your race, make yourself open to that person. A man of another race might be more reluctant or worried about asking out a woman of another race. Let the man know that you are open to the idea and interested in dating him. A smile, a laugh, a great conversation -- these are all ways to let this man know that you want to date him!

  2. Step 2

Make friends with people of different races. The more people you know of different races, the higher chance you have of meeting a special someone that you would love to make your boyfriend. And, in the process, you may just make some really great new friends too!

  3. Step 3

Try online dating. There are some websites that are devoted entirely to matching up people of different races. You can do this from the privacy of your own home, so why not test it out? There may be the perfect man of another race out there that thinks just like you and wants an interracial girlfriend. You never know. You may meet the love of your life.

  4. Step 4

Think about your motives. Make sure your reasons for wanting to date someone of another race are valid (i.e. you are genuinely attracted and interested in certain people of this race, you get along well with people of this race, etc). Don't try to date someone of another race just to prove something to yourself or for the novelty of it.

Tips & Warnings
  • Interracial dating can be tough. Cultural differences are often hard to get past, especially religious differences. Make sure you are prepared for all this -- it can take work.
  • There are people even in this day and age that are vehemently against interracial relationships. If you have friends or family with these negative thoughts about your dating a man of another race, try to ignore them. No one can tell you who to date. That is your choice and your choice alone.
