Do you have items that you need to sell? Using Craigslist is a quick, simple, and free way to get rid of your items and make some money. Follow this step-by-step guide to help you sell your items on Craigslist.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer
  • Camera
  1. Step 1

Create an account. It isn't required, but it will make things easier. You will be able to keep track of the the posts that you place in Craigslist.

  2. Step 2

Take a picture of the items you want to sell. People are more likely to buy an item that they can see.

  3. Step 3

Describe each item that you want to sell. The more descriptive you are, the better chance you have of selling it. Include any damages that the seller should know about.

  4. Step 4

Determine the correct price for your items.

  5. Step 5

Figure out if the items are pickup only or if you will deliver. This is something that should be included in your post.

  6. Step 6

Create your posts. Make sure you make an individual post for each item. The items should be placed under the correct categories.

  7. Step 7

As you sell each item, make sure you remove the post. This will prevent emails coming in about those items.

Tips & Warnings
  • Sell your item to the first person that can come and get it.
