The shot that is referred to as "Liquid Cocaine" is highly debated amongst bar-goers. There are many different combinations and variations of it, and so the title of Liquid Cocaine is always up for debate. There is, however, one particular variation that is seen much more frequently than all the others. Here's how to make it:

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1/2 oz. of 151-proof rum
  • 1/2 oz. of Jägermeister
  • 1/2 oz. of Rumpleminze
  • Ice
  • A martini shaker
  • A rocks glass or large shotglass

How to Make Your Own Liquid Cocaine Shot

  1. Step 1

Fill the martini shaker 75 percent full of ice.

  2. Step 2

Add the rum, Jägermeister and Rumpleminze to the shaker.

  3. Step 3

Secure the shaker's lid firmly and ensure that it is sealed properly.

  4. Step 4

Shake the mixture vigorously for 15 to 20 seconds.

  5. Step 5

Strain the "Liquid Cocaine" mixture out of the shaker and into your chosen glass.

  6. Step 6

    Serve immediately.

  7. Step 7

Consume in one fluid motion, gulping the entire shot down and not sipping it.

Tips & Warnings
  • There are many variations on the "Liquid Cocaine" recipe, but this one is the general standard.
  • The longer that you shake the "Liquid Cocaine" shot in your martini shaker, the more diluted it will become. So, if you want a stronger tasting shot, shake for less time. If you want a weaker tasting shot, shake longer.
  • 151-proof rum is extremely dangerous and flammable. It should never be consumed in its unadulterated form, or consumed or handled near open flames. Use due caution when handling 151-proof rum and follow manufacturer directions carefully.
  • Drink in moderation and responsibly.
  • Never drink and drive.
