Things You'll Need:
- wiffle ball

Step 1
The Screwball -- Batters hate to see a screwball in wiffle ball. Since there are holes in the ball the movement is so nasty its hard to lock in on this pitch. Any of the other various wiffle ball pitches won't even come close to the screwball. Place the holes towards the sky and place all four of your fingers together and put them over the holes. When the thumb is positioned lift your ring and pinky off the wiffle ball, but still keep them together with the other two. When you try various wiffle ball pitches like this, twist the wrist outwards as you release.
-
Step 2
The Psychotic Curveball -- Various wiffle ball pitches have some of the coolest names and the psychotic curveball has to take the cake. Other various wiffle ball pitches don't have near as much break as this one and you'll find out when you throw it. To grip the psychotic curveball stick it in between your index and middle fingers. Touch the thumb and index finger together for stability. Various wiffle ball pitches can be utilized at any release point, but this pitch works best sidearm. The ball will rise momentarily and then sink relentlessly.
-
Step 3
The Nasty Knuckler -- Out of all the various wiffle ball pitches, the nasty knuckler has the most unique grip. Make a minor dent in the top of the wiffle ball right in the center above the holes. Your middle and ring fingers will be bent and the knuckles and rest right inside the dent. The index and pinky will be over the ball like you're holding out a longhorn sign. Put the thumb underneath for support and throw with a downward snap on the wiffle ball. This addition to the various wiffle ball pitches above will look so nasty coming in, hitters will refrain from swinging.
-
Step 4
Practicing These Various Wiffle Ball Pitches -- Control is the hardest thing to overcome when throwing these various wiffle ball pitches. Try finding a good release point that offers better control. For instance if you throw sidearm see how far you can extend the arm. This will help if you're having troubles. Various wiffle ball pitches like the nasty knuckler need to be thrown fifty to seventy-five times in a row to figure it out. Don't throw anymore then eighty because your arm will suffer throwing these various wiffle ball pitches.
