  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 8 oz. white chocolate (baking chips or chunks, broken into small pieces)
  • 2 cups heavy cream, well chilled
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • (You will need an ice cream maker with freezer bowl and a food processor or blender)

      Heat the whole milk until simmering.

      In a food processor or blender, combine sugar and chocolate pieces until finely chopped.

      Add hot milk and process until smooth. Transfer to a medium sized bowl and let mixture cool completely. (Cover with waxed paper or plastic wrap in refrigerator for about one hour).

      When cooled, stir in heavy cream and vanilla, chill for another 30-40 minutes.
