  • 3 to 4 pounds of brisket
  • 3/4 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup of water

      Preheat the over to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

      Mix the barbecue sauce, soy sauce and water together in bowl.

      Spread the mix generously over meat.

      Take the meat and wrap it in aluminum foil. Place this on a baking pan and then into then into the over. Wrap the roast in aluminum foil and place on baking pan.

      Bake 1 hour per pound of meat; if you have 2 1/2 pounds of meat, cook it for 2 1/2 hours. Once it is finished cooking, remove from oven and let it rest for several minutes. After it has rested, slice the meat with the grain and serve.

Tips & Warnings

  • Always be careful with cooked meat. Once it leaves the oven it will be hot, and it needs to be handled carefully. Also make sure the meat is well cooked.
