As your pregnancy progresses, your breasts will begin to grow. By the fourth month of pregnancy, most women feel more comfortable wearing maternity bras. This article will discuss how to choose the right maternity bra for you.

When choosing a maternity bra, consider comfort above all else. The cup should fit smoothly without puckering. When you first purchase the bra, make sure that the band fits comfortably at the tightest hook. This will ensure room for expansion as your rib cage expands.
-
2
Chose a cotton bra with smooth cups as opposed to lacy ones. Many women find underwire bras uncomfortable because they can compress sensitive tissue.

3
Be sure that the band of the bra fits comfortably. It should fall below your shoulder blades. It should also be snug enough not to ride up when you raise your arms but loose enough to be comfortable.
-
4
Choose a bra with wide, padded straps. This will help to ensure that the straps will not dig into your shoulders as the weight of your breasts increase.

You can also buy nursing bras as opposed to maternity bras. If you plan on nursing your baby, this may save you some money in the long run.

Tips & Warnings
Wearing a maternity sleep bra can give extra support and ease discomfort at night.
You can lessen your chances of your breasts sagging after your baby is born by wearing a supportive bra throughout your pregnancy, even during the night.
If you buy nursing bras instead of maternity bras, be sure to consider that your breast size may increase by two cup sizes in the days following the birth of your baby.

The model's bra doesn't fit her correctly. It should lie flat at the center between the breasts. If it does not, the bra is most likely too small in the cup.
