Making oven pork chops with gravy has never been easier. Either brown the pork chops or place them directly in a dish, add the mushroom soup and the evening meal is making itself. In a matter of 10 minutes, the pork chops are ready to bake. Making a meat and the gravy has never been so easy. Oven pork chops with gravy is a meal that everyone in the family enjoys. The pork chops are so tender. No knife is needed to cut and eat.

Things You’ll Need:

  • 4 to 6 pork chops
  • 1- 24 ounce can of mushroom soup

How to Make Oven Pork Chops With Gravy

Step1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Step2
Brown each side of the pork chop in a skillet and then place the meat into a casserole dish or a Dutch oven.
Step3
Add the can of mushroom soup after all the pork chops are browned and in the casserole dish or Dutch oven. Make sure to spread the mushroom soup evenly over every pork chop. Use the entire can of mushroom soup.
Step4
Place a cover on the casserole dish or the Dutch oven. Place the container in the oven and bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
Step5
Turn the heat down to 250 degrees after one hour and let bake for another hour
Step6
Remove the container from the oven and remove the pork chops. Place pork chops on a serving plate and serve. Pour mushroom gravy into a gravy bowl and serve.

Tips & Warnings

  • Keeping the pork chops in the oven at 250 degrees longer than an hour will make them even more tender.
  • If making baked potatoes with the pork chops, place the potatoes in the oven a half hour before turning the oven down to 250 degrees.
  • Eliminate the browning of pork chops to short preparation time.
  • Do not add salt or pepper to the mushroom soup during baking.
