How to Tile Kitchen Floor
If your kitchen floor needs remodeling, you can tile the floor yourself. Before you can start tiling, you need to measure the kitchen floor so that you know how many tiles to get. Take all the measurements and write them down. Does this Spark an idea?

Go to your local home improvement store and choose the tiling that you want. Take into consideration the measurements you have, versus the size of each tile. Some tiles might need to be cut to fit in exactly.

Take out all of the previous tiling. The floor should be completely clear. Use a broom to sweep away any residual particles.

To make the tiling proces easier, you might want to draw lines, using a sample tile as a tracing object.

Start in the center of the room and work your way outwards. Spread a thin layer of mortar on the floor, within the traced areas, and slowly place each tile.

Know that once the tiling is complete, you have the option of placing grout in between each tile. However, this is more of a personal decoration choice - it doesn't have to be done.

Allow the floor to dry overnight.
