Instructions

  1. It's a Wrap!

    • 1

Rip off a long section of aluminum foil. This is going to wrap around your foil dinner and go into the fire, so the longer the better (at least two to three feet long, depending on the size of your dinner).

    • 2

Place the foil dinner on a flat surface.

    • 3

Prepare your meal with any of the ingredients listed above.

    • 4

Place a layer of diced potato wedges down on the bottom of the foil.

    • 5

Cut up some carrots, onions and peppers and sprinkle them througout.

    • 6

Tear or cut your hamburger on top of that. Add sausage if you like.

    • 7

Add salt and pepper, then pour barbecue sauce on top.

    • 8

Wrap the entire dinner like a present you don't want anyone to open, so that it will not open in the fire. If you need to add more foil, do so.

    • 9

Let your fire die down a bit, so that the coals are hot, then gently place the foil in the coals.

    • 10

Turn it often with a spatula or gloved hand, so that the ingredients cook evenly.

    • 11

After 10-15 minutes (depending on the size of your dinner and the heat of the coals), take it out and open it up. Test it first with your fork. If it is not done, wrap it back up and stick back in.

    • 12

Let it cool a bit, then enjoy.
