- 1 cup creamer
- 8 oz finely chopped bittersweet chocolate
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 4oz. creme de menthe
- Small pot

- 4 mugs

Put the finely chopped bittersweet chocolate into a heat-safe bowl.

Put the small pot over low to medium heat and pour in the creamer.

Bring creamer to a boil, stirring constantly to avoid burning the creamer.

Pour creamer into the heat safe bowl that you put the chocolate in.

Stir the creamer in the bowl until the chocolate is fully melted.

Pour the mixture back into the pot.

Add the milk and simmer over low to medium heat stirring as needed.

Pour into mugs and add one shot of creme de menthe to each.

Tips & Warnings
I like this best with whole milk and clear creme de menthe, but you can use any milk and green or clear creme de menthe if you like.
A quick spray of whipped cream and some chocolate shavings on top will dress up this drink.
If you have limited time, this drink could also be made by using instant hot chocolate and simply topping it off with 1 oz. of creme de menthe.
Avoid burning the creamer by stirring constantly.
Pouring hot liquid back and forth can be messy and could cause injury. Using a glass measuring cup as the "heat safe bowl" can help make the pouring process cleaner and safer.
