Things You'll Need:
- 1/2 cup olive oil or salad oil
- 1/3 cup rice vinegar
- 3 tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp dried tarragon or 2 tbsp. finely chopped fresh
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 tsp fresh ground pepper
- 1 jar with lid (such as clean mayonnaise jar)

Step 1
Wash and finely chop the herb, if using fresh tarragon, to make 2 tablespoons.

Measure oil and vinegar and put into a jar that has a lid.

Add sugar, herbs and spices.

Close tightly and shake well.

Step 5
Use immediately as salad dressing, or store in refrigerator and shake well before pouring over salad.
