Mineral concealer is one of today's hottest makeup trends. With the feeling of air against your skin, a mineral concealer will cover your blemishes, marks and under-eye circles. This mineral-based makeup does not clog pores and can be left on skin overnight with no ill effects compared to that of a traditional cream concealer. The powder consistency of a mineral concealer makes the application process a bit different than other concealers. Here's how to apply mineral concealer to achieve a flawless, ready- for-the-runway look every time.

  • Well -lit mirror

    Get Ready to Be Flawless

  1. Step 1

You will need to prepare the mineral concealer container. Mineral concealer is a loose powder in a shaker container that can make a mess if not prepared properly. Gently shake the container up and down with the lid on. Doing this will distribute the powder mineral makeup on top of the shaker.

  2. Step 2

Unscrew the mineral makeup brush from the container. Be careful not to dump any loose powder out.

  3. Step 3

You will need to load the makeup brush with the mineral concealer. Dip the brush into the powder that has settled on top of the shaker. Gently tap the makeup brush on the edge of the container to remove any excess mineral concealer.

  4. Step 4

To cover a mark or blemish, you will want to tap the makeup brush over the mark until it is completely covered. Reload makeup brush as needed to complete this task.

  5. Step 5

Repeat Steps 3 and 4 with every mark and blemish on your face. The goal with using mineral concealer is to make your complexion look flawless.

  6. Step 6

To finish applying mineral concealer, you will want to conceal under your eyes. Load the makeup brush as described in Step 3. Gently sweep the mineral concealer under each eye. The action of brushing the powder on will keep it from settling in any fine lines around the eyes.
