This is a delicious fettuccine alfredo dish that is restaurant quality. In a restaurant, this dish usually costs around ten dollars per serving. But a serving of seven can be made for half that price with this recipe! Does this Spark an idea?

  • 1 Box fettuccine noodles
  • 8 Oz. cream cheese
  • ½ Cup butter or margarine
  • ½ Cup milk
  • ¾ Cup shredded Parmesan cheese

    • 1
      Bring noodles to a boil then reduce heat and allow noodles to cook slowly.

      Break fettuccine noodles in half and place in a pot of water. Cook on high until noodles began to boil, then lower heat to medium for 10 minutes then to low until noodles are soft.

      Combine all ingredients except fettuccini noodles in large pot.

      Combine butter, margarine, milk and Parmesan cheese in a large pot. Add cream cheese, cutting it into pieces as you add it. Cook on medium heat--stirring constantly--until cream cheese and Parmesan are melted. Lower heat and let simmer.

      Pasta should be soft and warm or hot to the touch when done.

      Drain pasta in a colander.

      Coat all pasta completely

      Fold pasta into sauce until noodles are coated completely.

      Stir pasta for five minutes to seal in the flavor of the sauce into each noodle

      Continue to stir and cook on low heat for five minutes once pasta is covered

  • Garlic bread goes great with most pasta dishes and Fettuccine Alfredo is no exception.
