Who hasn't had their toilet overflow because of too much toilet paper. It is an easy fix if you know what you are doing. Follow these instructions and you will have that toilet paper clog broken up in no time.

Things You'll Need:

  • Plastic gloves
  • Coat hanger
  • Newspaper

    Fix an Overflowed Toilet Stuffed By Toilet Paper

  1. Step 1

    Put on your plastic gloves and lay the newspaper down around the base of the toilet just in case there is an overflow.

  2. Step 2

    Lift up the toilet seat.

  3. Step 3

    Prepare your wire hanger by twisting the top ends of the coat hanger apart until the hanger is one continuous wire.

  4. Step 4

    Put one end ot the wire hanger into the bend of the toilet bowl.

  5. Step 5

    Slowly turn the wire hanger to break up the toilet paper. If need be push the wire hanger further down the bend.

  6. Step 6

    Once the toilet paper is broken up flush the toilet. Voila the bathroom is back in use.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can use a closet auger if you have one available.
  • If these tips do not work you will need to call a plumber.
