Playing baseball in darts is similar to the scoring of baseball and darts, hence the name. The object is to score the most amount of points, or "runs," by the end of the game. This guide shows the basic rules for how to play the game.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Standard dartboard
  • Darts
  • Scoreboard
  1. Step 1

Use a scoreboard to keep track of the innings. Write the numbers 1 to 9 across the scoreboard to keep track of the runs. Separate each player's inning score by writing their names on the side, so as to see each player's score for that inning.

  2. Step 2

Throw three darts per player per inning. To score, the player must land their darts on the number corresponding to the inning. For example, in inning 1, you would aim for the "1" section of the dartboard, "2" for inning 2 and so on. Any other part of the board does not count toward the score.

  3. Step 3

Add 1 point per dart landing within the number of the same inning. If dart lands in the double ring of the same section, then add 2 points to the player's score. If the triple ring is hit, add 3 points to the score. The highest score possible for any inning is 9.

  4. Step 4

Play extra innings if there is a tie at the end of the ninth inning, using the bull's-eye center as the scoring target. The player with the highest score at the last inning wins.

  5. Step 5

Play a variation to the game known as the "seventh-inning stretch." The added incentive to scoring in the seventh inning is that a player who does not score loses half of his points.
