Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Tear open a paper grocery store bag so that you have one long piece of paper.

  2. Step 2

    Heat up your iron.

  3. Step 3

Place a corner of the paper bag on top of the spot of wax.

  4. Step 4

Run the iron over the paper bag until you see the wax transfer onto the paper. Only a small amount of wax can be absorbed at a time, so you will need to continually move a fresh section of the paper over the wax spot, then run the iron over it until all the wax has been transferred onto the paper.

  5. Step 5

Throw the paper away and turn off your iron. Your carpet is now wax-free.

Tips & Warnings
  • Some of the wax may stick to your iron, so be sure to run the iron over paper or scrap fabric before using it on your clothes. You can also wait for the iron to cool down and then scrape the wax off if there is a large amount.
