How to Make An 8 Sided Poker Table

  1. Step 1

After purchasing the plywood you will need to measure it off to create four more sides in order to create an 8 sided poker table. You can do this by using a pencil and measuring tape to equally mark off the corners of the table.

  2. Step 2

Now that you have the corners marked off, place the wood on the saw horses and use the saw to cut off the corners. You now have 8 sides to your poker table.

  3. Step 3

Using the file or the sand paper, sand the corners down or the areas that were cut to smooth it out and get rid of splinters.

  4. Step 4

Lay the green felt on a flat surface. Place the wood flat on the felt. The area touching the ground will be the top of the 8 sided poker table while you are now looking at the bottom. Tuck the felt over and staple to the bottom of the table.

  5. Step 5

Take the folding banquet table legs and evenly space them out. Take the screws and screw the table legs into the table top.

  6. Step 6

Unfold legs and stand the table right side up. If the table is wobbly or uneven, measure and again and screw legs back on.

Tips & Warnings
  • If this is the first table you are building use cheap materials in case you make a mistake.
  • Use short screws to screw into the wood. Using screws too long will puncture through the other side (top side) of the table and felt.
