How to Make an AMF Cocktail

The A.M.F. is an extremely strong, highly intoxicating beverage. Hence its name, which stands for Adios Mother***. It is particularly infamous because of the fact that it has a sweet, pleasant taste and very high alcohol content. Be forewarned then, and beware the A.M.F. Here's how to make one.

Things You'll Need:

• 1 oz. vodka
• 1 oz. gin
• 1 oz. tequila
• 1 oz. rum
• 1 oz. blue Curacao
• 3 oz. sour mix
• Lemon-lime soda
• Pint glass
• Ice cubes
• 1 maraschino cherry (optional garnish)

Making Your Very Own A.M.F.

1. Chill pint glass thoroughly in freezer, for several hours if possible.

2. Fill pint glass roughly 1/2 full of ice.

3. Pour in the five liquors, 5 oz. in total.

4. Stir the mixture briskly until the ingredients are fully integrated. At the end of stirring, the entire mixture should have taken on the blue color of the blue Curacao.

5. Fill the pint glass the rest of the way by adding lemon-lime soda.

6. Garnish by adding a maraschino cherry to the pint glass if desired.

7. Serve immediately.

Tips & Warnings

• Expensive, high-end liquors aren't really necessary in the A.M.F. cocktail because the other flavors will drown them out and hide their more intricate facets.
• For a sweeter, more tropical version of the A.M.F., try using flavored vodka and rum. Experiment to find out which ones you like best.
• The A.M.F. has a very high alcohol content and should only be consumed in moderation.
