How to Season Crab Legs

Crab legs add a lot to any summer cookout and are especially good when seasoned according to an old-fashioned Maryland recipe.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Old Bay easoning
  • Lemons
  • Garlic
  • Butter
  • Salt
  • Crab legs
  • Large pot
  1. Step 1
    Lemon
    Lemon

    Fill the pot with cold water. Squeeze in the juice of one or two lemons.

  2. Step 2
    Old Bay
    Old Bay

    Take the can of Old Bay seasoning and add about half of the can to the water.

  3. Step 3
    King crab
    King crab

    When the water has boiled, place the crab legs in the pot and cook for 15 to 20 minutes.

  4. Step 4

    Mince a clove of garlic. Melt the butter and combine with the garlic and a dash of salt. Use the butter for dipping.
