  • 3 tbsp. of water
  • 1 tsp. of lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 3 egg whites
  • Saucepan

  1. How to Make Apple Snow

    • 1

      Peel and core the apples.

      Slice the apples into a saucepan.

    • 3

      Add the water and lemon juice to the saucepan.

      Cover the saucepan. Cook the apples for about 15 minutes or until they are soft.

      Allow the apples to cool and place them in a blender. Add the sugar and blend into a puree.

      Whisk the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Carefully fold the eggs into the apple mixture.

      Divide the apple snow into serving bowls and chill it in the refrigerator before serving.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can eat the apple snow as is or you can use toppings. Possible topping include whipped cream, brown sugar or crumbled vanilla wafer cookies.

  • Do not make the apple snow far in advance of serving it. It has a tendency to separate.
