Things You'll Need:
- 7 to 8 inch Skillet
- Pam spray or other coating oil
- 4 Eggs
- 1/4 Cup of Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 4 teaspoons of Heavy Cream or Milk
- Salt, for taste
- Pepper, for taste
- Mixing bowl, medium or large
- Whisk
- Spatula
- Plates
-
Step 1
In a mixing bowl, crack the four eggs in to the bowl and add the heavy cream. Milk also works but for a richer and fluffier set of eggs, heavy cream works best.
-
Step 2
Whisk together the eggs and cream together until the mixture is blended together. During this time is a great time to add the salt and pepper for taste in the egg mixture. This gets the salt and pepper flavor into the eggs themselves.
-
Step 3
Add in the shredded Cheddar cheese and mix it into the egg mixture.
-
Step 4
On the stove, put the skillet on the burner and spray it with a non-stick spray.
-
Step 5
Turn the burner to medium heat and preheat the pan. Test it by adding a drop of water that will sizzle once it hits the pan to know when the pan is ready to cook with.
-
Step 6
Once the pan is ready, add the egg mixture to the pan. Let the mixture begin to settle and start mixing it together to scrambled the eggs with the spatula.
-
Step 7
Continue to cook until there is very little visible egg mixture left. Removed the eggs from the pan and on to two different plates. By leaving a bit of the mixture not quite finished cooking is left because the eggs will continue to cook for several minutes after being taken off the burner. This helps the eggs not be overcooked.
-
Step 8
To add a bit more cheese for those who like a lot of cheese, sprinkle a bit more of the Cheddar cheese on the top of the egg once they are removed from the stove, the remaining cooking the eggs are doing will melt the cheese. Serve the eggs and enjoy.
