Instructions

    • 1

Put masking tape over the areas of the shoe you don't want to paint. This would usually include the sole and the inside of the shoe.

    • 2

Start painting your shoe. Beginning from the bottom helps to keep things even.

    • 3

Hold the can about a foot away from the shoe and spray it evenly over the whole shoe with the paint. Don't put too much paint in one area. This will cause the paint to drip.

    • 4

Go over the area a second time so that all the paint fully covers the fabric of your shoe.

    • 5

Leave the shoes alone while they dry. This usually takes a few hours. To be on the safe side, don't remove the masking tape for twenty-four hours. This will assure that the paint is completely dry and won't peel when you peel off the masking tape.

Tips & Warnings

  • Have fun with it. Spray painted shoes are meant for fun.

  • Make sure you paint your shoes in a well ventilated area, preferably outside.
