Cricket is one of the most popular games under the genre of darts. It requires a little familiarity with a dart board, but the basics about a dart board are not hard to learn. Each of the 20 sections that make up the dart board have a corresponding number with an outer ring (double), and inner ring (triple) and a wider space for scoring the exact number that makes up that section of the board. Cricket requires that you know certain things about the dart board which are outlined in the steps below.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Dart board
  • Darts
  • Scoring pad
  1. Step 1

    Locate the 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15 and the bull’s eye.

  2. Step 2

Beginning at any number you choose, the object is to hit any combination that equals a triple score. For example, a dart landing in the “C” ring of the board scores a triple for that number.

  3. Step 3

When a player scores the first triple of any number, that number becomes “closed.” The player that closes a number can score points by hitting that number again until someone else has closed the number.

  4. Step 4

The play continues until a player has closed all numbers required along with the bull's eye.

Tips & Warnings
  • Always start with the easiest number for you to throw.
  • Don’t stand in the path or the near vicinity of a thrown dart as this can cause injury.
