How to Make Money in Entropia Universe

Entropia Universe is unlike other massively multi player online games. It is diffrent in that it has a real cash economy. You can earn money in the game, and withdraw it as real money in real life. However, the dynamics of making money in Entropia Universe are fairly complicated, and it's easy to make mistakes. You won't be able to make a lot of money through activities such as sweating (collecting vibrant sweat from creatures), hunting or mining alone. You probably won't be able to make much if you don't put any real money into the game. However, if you make a deposit, then trade with other players you will begin to see returns.

1. Choose a profession. Preferably it should be a profession where you can provide a product or service which people can't easily get on their own. For example, you can sweat the monsters in order to gain their vibrant essence, then sell it to other gamers. You will need to have at least 1000 (1K) bottles of sweat before you'll be able to make an effective transaction. You can also hunt in Entropia Universe, and then loot the creatures which you have killed, or mine and sell your ores.

2. Sell the items you collect. Be sure to check the auction prices of the items you collect before selling them at the Trade Terminal (TT). Many times they are several times higher than the Trade Terminal prices. You can also do a direct trade with other gamers in Entropia Universe by clicking the Private Trade icon in your tool bar.

3. Provide services that other Entropia Universe users can't easily provide for themselves. But choose your professions wisely, as skills are hard won. You may make more money as a beautician than as a healer, for example, since most people will pay to improve their appearance but only higher level hunters will pay for heals.

4. Make items to sell to other settlers in Entropia Universe. To do this, you will need to become a Manufacturer or a Tailor. You will need to gather or purchase raw materials to produce your finished product. These are also skilled professions, so you will need to work toward increasing your skills. Both Manufacturers and Tailors will need blueprints to produce items for sale. Certain machines, such as a Manufacturing Terminal or a Tailoring Machine will be necessary to produce your items.

5. Invest in Entropia Universe real estate. You can buy real estate to resell directly, or to fix up and resell. You can also charge retail sales, mining and hunting fees on land that you own. You will generally need a considerable amount of money to invest in this option.

Tips & Warnings

• Go to the Sweat Camp which is located near Port Atlantis to get started building up skills and sweating and looting creatures.

• Don't try to make money by sweating alone. Instead, make a small deposit and use as an investment to make more money.

• Watch out for scams in Entropia Universe. Always use the Trade Window, and check items before buying them.

• Never sell items for cheaper than the going rate.

• Don't buy settler armor from the Trade Terminal. Instead, invest in some Pixie Armor which you can loot from creatures or buy from settlers.
