Do keyword research for demand. You can use free or paid keyword tools to research the popularity of the keywords. Make a list of potential keyword phrases for your market. Make note of keywords that have a higher search volume.

Check the supply of the keywords. Type in each keyword into Google and note the number of results returned. The more search results for a keyword, the more competitive it is.

Never try to fool the search engines with black-hat SEO tactics like “keyword stuffing.” Don’t overdo the keywords. The search engines will penalize your site for shady practices.
