This article will show you how to boil spaghetti to perfection.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 8 to 16 oz. uncooked spaghetti pasta
  • Large pot
  • Water
  • Dash of salt
  1. Step 1

In a large pot, bring at least 6 cups water to a boil. Add a pinch of salt.

  2. Step 2

Add your pasta to the water and turn the heat down to medium.

  3. Step 3

Stir the pasta every few minutes to prevent sticking.

  4. Step 4

Drain and rinse the pasta to stop the cooking proccess.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure the pasta is done by taking one strand out and shaking excess water from it. Toss it at the fridge and see if it will stick. If it does, it's done.
  • Cooking the pasta too long will make it soggy. Cooking the pasta too high will cause the pasta to stick, so be sure to stir it.
