This will show you how to make an excellent chicken fettucine alfredo recipe.

From Quick Guide: Chicken Breast Recipe Guide
Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 lb. chicken breast (cubed)
  • 1lb. fettuccine pasta (uncooked)
  • 1 cup broccolli (optional)
  • 1 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 cups mozzerella cheese
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • Seasonings to Taste: Garlic, basil, oregano, crushed red pepper, black pepper
  • Garlic Toast (optional)
  1. Step 1

Begin by bringing a pot of water to a boil. Salt the water, and cook pasta 7-10 minutes or until al dente. With five minutes left in cooking time, add your broccolli, to cook through, and to save a dish.

  2. Step 2

While the pasta is cooking, start a skillet and cook chicken cubes, seasoned to taste over medium-high heat until cooked through.

  3. Step 3

In a medium sized sauce pot, melt butter, add heavy whipping cream and heat over medium-low. Do NOT allow the mixture to boil. Add cheeses, and stir until cheeses are melted. Season alfredo sauce as desired.

  4. Step 4

Add the chicken to the alfredo sauce. Drain pasta and brocolli.

  5. Step 5

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, stir until well mixed. Serve with garlic toast if desired.

Tips & Warnings
  • Try adding all sorts of cheeses to your sauce. Romano works well; and the parmesan works better when shredded.
  • Remember: Do not let the whipping cream come to a boil before adding your cheeses.
