    Ride a Wheelie

  1. Step 1

Get away from any populated areas. If there are any police or civilians nearby, this could get ugly.

  2. Step 2

Rev up to your powerband in first gear. This is usually around 6500 RPM.

  3. Step 3

Release the throttle just enough so that your front forks compress.

  4. Step 4

Snap your throttle back on when your front forks are fully compressed.

  5. Step 5

Ride the wheelie. This is known as a power wheelie. After getting good at this, you can attempt a clutch wheelie, which is a bit more difficult, but actually the best way to do a wheelie.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can try a wheelie by pulling up on the handlebars, but this looks sloppy and you could hurt yourself.
  • Make sure to wear a helmet. It costs extra if they have to identify you with dental records.
