Instructions

Cleanse your face by washing with a gentle cleanser and lukewarm water. Once you have washed your face, softly pat it dry with a white towel.

After you’ve cleansed your face, it’s time to exfoliate. Put some of your exfoliant on your face and gently rub it into your skin. Do this for about a minute. Put a little water on your hands and continue to rub your skin. Do this for 30 seconds. Rinse your face with lukewarm water and towel dry.

    • 3

Steam your face. Drape the towel over your head and put your face above the bowl filled with steaming water. Make sure not to get too close to the water. This should not burn or sting; if it does, stop immediately. It should feel similar to a sauna. Continue this for 5 minutes.

Once your finished with the steam, it’s time to extract any blackheads or whiteheads. If you are extracting whiteheads, you want to use the lancet to puncture the whitehead and then extract it using tissue paper. If you are extracting blackheads there is no need to use the lancet. All you need to do is gently apply pressure on both sides of the blackhead using your fingers.

Apply a facial mask. If you have dry skin, apply a moisturizing mask and if you have oily skin, apply a deep cleansing clay mask. If you extracted blemishes in the past step you need to apply a dab of the Queen Helene Mint Julep mask over the blemishes prior to applying your facial mask. After your mask has been applied take two of the cucumber slices and put them over your eyes. Lay down and relax for 15 to 20 minutes. Once the time is up, rinse the mask off. Apply toner and moisturizer.
