Instructions

    • 1

Apply puff paint directly to unfired pottery that has been dried. When using the applicator, make sure to wipe the tip every once in awhile to prevent paint buildup.

    • 2

Allow the puff paint to dry after creating your design.

    • 3

Apply pottery paint or glaze using a sponge instead of a paint brush once the puff paint has dried. Because the pottery paint will reactivate the puff paint, using a brush may cause the puff paint to flatten. When using a sponge, gently blot paint over your design until it's completely covered.

    • 4

Fire all pottery after the pottery paint has dried. This will bring out the color of the paint while setting it.

Tips & Warnings

  • Use contrasting puff paint and pottery paint colors to create a bold design.
