The Wu-Tang is an easy dance move for those who want to show off their dance style at a Hip Hop club. Because you can incorporate your own personality into this move, it has become a favorite of Hip Hop dancers over the years. Once you learn the basics, you can combine it with other moves and dance to a variety of rythms.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Wait for the Hip Hop music to begin. When you're ready, casually place your right hand over your left hand. Make sure your hands and wrists remain loose so you can move them freely at all times. Make sure you're moving to the beat of the music. Count the beats like this: One and Two and Three and Four in order to maintain your rythm. Each beat should signal a new step.

  2. Step 2

Uncross your arms. Snap your fingers and lower your arms.

  3. Step 3

Lift your right knee as you move your body to the left. Your left knee should be slightly bent.

  4. Step 4

Lower your leg and move your body to the right.

  5. Step 5

Cross your right hand over your left. Snap your fingers and lower your hands. This time, move your body to the right and lift your left leg. Your right leg should be slightly bent. Repeat the sequence over and over throughout the song you're dancing to.

Tips & Warnings
  • When beginning, practice this dance at home to music you can easily count.
  • Make sure your body remains limp and relaxed at all times.
  • Don't be afraid to add your own style into this move.
