Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Partner
  • Medicine ball
  1. Step 1

Stand back to back with your partner.

  2. Step 2

Tighten your abs and stand with perfect posture during the entire exercise.

  3. Step 3

Pick up the medicine ball. Twist at your core. Hand the ball to your partner, then twist to the opposite side and receive the ball.

  4. Step 4

Keep your hips straight, turn at the waist, and engage your abdominals.

  5. Step 5

Continue to give and receive 10 to 15 times, twisting at the torso and working the obliques, or sides, of your abdominal muscles.

  6. Step 6

Change sides. If you gave the ball to your partner on your right side, then receive the ball from your right side. Repeat for 1 to 3 sets.

Tips & Warnings
  • Use a heavier ball for greater resistance.
  • If you feel pain, stop immediately. Always consult a doctor, before beginning any exercise program.
