How to Make Cocktail Weenies

Things You'll Need
- Crescent refrigerator dough or other prepared dough
- One package of frankfurters
- Two cookie sheets
- Parchment paper

Preheat oven to 350 degrees (or whatever temperature is indicated in the instructions on your dough).

Line your cookie sheets with parchment paper for an easy clean-up after the party.

Pat dry your hot dogs

Open one section of the crescent dough. Place a whole frank at the shortest side of the dough and roll up the dough until it covers the entire hot dog. Press the dough together and seal it around the frank.

Cut the dough-encased franks into four even pieces and space them evenly on the parchment paper.

Repeat from step four.

Bake for 20-25 minutes. The dough should be golden and the meat should be fully cooked. Serve immediately.

Tips & Warnings
Get creative with condiments for adults such as olive oil infused with crushed pepper or, for kids, mustard and ketchup.
Prepare them in advance and cover them with plastic wrap until guests arrive, then pop them in the oven.
Let your kids help with this one. They love this recipe.
Serve whole ones for dinner if you run out of hot dog rolls.
Be sure your franks are fully cooked to the temperature indicated on the package. Adjust the cooking time and temperature depending on the brand of dough you buy.
