Things You'll Need:
- Cloth
- Disinfectant cleaner
- Non-abrasive cleaner
- Squeegee
- Towel
- Scrub brush
- Window cleaner
- Non-toxic mold and mildew remover
-
Step 1
For scummy tubs and showers, use a non-abrasive cleaner (even baking soda will work) to lightly cover the tub. Gently scrub with a wet brush to remove build up and dirt. Rinse bath and shower with water.
-
Step 2
If there is mold and mildew, use a non-toxic cleaner. Make sure the directions on back of the cleaner say it can be used on fiberglass.
-
Step 3
Spray tub or shower with disinfectant. Let the spray sit for a few minutes to make sure it is completely sanitized. Clean with a damp cloth.
-
Step 4
On glass portion of the shower or tub, use disinfectant cleaner first. Follow up with window cleaner.
-
Step 5
Keep a squeegee nearby and wipe away water from the glass and flat portions of the tub and shower. This will help keep fiberglass showers and bathtubs looking nice in between cleanings.
