  1. Step 1

Open your car's hood by releasing the latch and locate the current bulb. You should find it near the front of the car on the inside of the headlamp.

  3. Step 3

Bring the burnt out bulb to an automotive store and purchase the identical bulb. You may want to ask for help from a store in employee because there are many varieties of headlamp light bulbs.

Return to the car, open the hood, and replace the new bulb for the burned out one. Close the hood.

  5. Step 5

Turn on your car's headlights and make sure that the light bulb works.

Save the package for the new light bulb so you can easily identify the type of bulb you will need to buy in the future. You may want to keep it in your glove compartment.

Tips & Warnings
  • It is a good idea to replace all the bulbs at the same time as they will probably burn out at the same rate.
  • Be careful when unscrewing and screwing in the light bulbs as they are small and may break if too much pressure is applied.
