  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1 cup raw converted rice
  • 1 package dry onion soup mix
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup or cream of chicken

      Gather your ingredients listed above. Rinse the three pounds of chicken off and pat dry.

      Set your crock pot to low heat for six to eight hours if you have a timer on it.

      Pour the rice, soup, and water in the crock pot and mix well.

      Place the chicken into a roasting bag with the dry onion soup mix. Shake the bag so that the mixture coats all of the chicken.

      Poke four to six holes into the bottom of the bag. Fold the top of the bag over and set the bag on top of the rice mixture in the crock pot. Allow the chicken to become tender and the rice to cook until it is done. The rice will become mushy if it is overcooked.
