Step 1
Choosing the right bathing suit can make you feel like a model!Know the exact size you need. Many of us need two different sizes when it comes to bathing suits: One size for the top and one size for the bottom. However, if you are looking for a one-piece suit you won't have to worry so much about this part. In order to calculate your size you need to measure yourself. You can do this on your own with a measuring tape. Measure your bust, and make sure the tape goes over the fullest part of your bosom. Write down the results. Then measure your waist and remember to measure your natural waist, not where you want your waist to be!! Then, finally, measure your hips. Once you have the measurements you can start shopping.

Step 2
Check out your favorite store first. While you may already know your size in their specific clothing brand it is always best to use the size chart when it comes to bathing suits to make sure you get a good fit. If you spend a lot of time in your bathing suit during the summer, you want one that fits good and is comfortable! Be sure to check the size chart on all of the suits that you try on.

Step 3
One-piece suits are stylish in today's fashion world!Choose a suit that flatters your body type. If you are smaller in the chest you should look for a suit with no padding and not in a solid pattern. You might consider a strapless with a pattern or even one with push-up ability. If you are thicker in the stomach area you might opt for a one-piece. There are one-piece suits available that have a corset-type feel to them that help pull in your stomach, giving you a more flattering look.

Step 4
If you have rather thick thighs, you should consider a skirted bottom. You want to make sure that the skirt covers the length of your thigh and doesn't stop mid-thigh because this can make your thighs look even larger than they really are. Skirted bottoms are definitely in fashion so nobody will know if you are hiding those thighs! If you have a rather well endowed chest you should consider a bright suit that helps minimize your chest. Padding is usually a plus and any support you can find is always recommended.
