With the population's increased awareness about the dangers of pesticides, organic produce is becoming easier to find. There are organic produce sections in many large grocery stores. If you don't have an organic produce section in your grocery store, you can always find organic produce in your local whole foods market.

  1. Step 1

    Wash your fruits and vegetables well. Being pesticide free doesn't mean they're free of dirt. Fruits and vegetable may also have traces of bacteria on the surface that can make you sick. It's important to always wash them with clean water before you eat them. Even fruits and vegetables that you peel before eating should be washed well.

    Prepare in the same way you would non-organic fruits or vegetables. There are a variety of recipes that you can find online. You might also consider borrowing a cookbook from the library. Fruits and vegetables make a wonderful addition to your diet and health keep you healthy.

    Eat fruit separately or in a delicious fruit salad. You don't have to load fruits down with sugar and stick them a dessert for them to taste great. Fruit is full of natural sugars that are pleasing to the palate.

    Eat vegetables roasted or steamed. You might even consider eating them raw. Raw vegetables are more than just salads these days. The number of raw foodists in the world seems to be increasing everyday. You can find a variety of recipes that serve up raw vegetables in a new and exciting way.
