Things You'll Need

  • 5 tbsp. butter
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • 20 oz. of thawed chopped frozen broccoli
  • 1 can of condensed cream of mushroom soup undiluted
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 medium eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 12 finely crushed Ritz crackers
  • 2 quart casserole dish

Instructions

      Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

      In a skillet melt 3 tbsp. of butter over medium-high heat.

      Saute onions in the skillet until they become translucent.

      In a large mixing bowl add all the ingredients except the remaining 2 tbsp. of butter and the crushed crackers.

      Mix ingredients thoroughly.

      Pour combined ingredients into the casserole dish.

      Top with remaining butter and crackers.

      Bake uncovered for approximately 45 minutes or until throughly heated and browned on top.
