1
Purchase inexpensive sheer curtains that fit the size of your doorway or opening. Generally speaking, a curtain should be one and one-half times or two times the width of the opening. Spread the curtain out on the floor or on a large table. Put a tarp or old plastic tablecloth underneath the curtain because the glue is apt to seep through the sheer material.

Using the glue gun, glue along the seam that runs horizontally underneath the pocket where the rod will go. Apply the rickrack or strands of beads along the glued line. Do the same along the seam that runs horizontally above the rod pocket. Again, attach your choice of decorative items.

Let the glued items dry for 10 minutes or so. Insert the the spring action curtain rod into the curtain pocket and hang the decorated sheer curtain in the doorless closet to camouflage the mess inside that you don't want the entire world to see. Or hang the curtain in an open doorway to provide privacy and separation.
