Things You'll Need

  • Swifter or other cartridge-style wet mop
  • Empty cartridge
  • Vinegar
  • Water
  • Boiling water

Instructions

      Bring water to a boil on a stove top or in a microwave oven.

      Holding the empty cartridge by the bottom, insert the top into the boiling water for one minute.

      Using a towel, grasp the top firmly and twist off. It should come off easily.

      Add equal parts vinegar and water to cartridge.

      Replace cap, seal tightly and insert cartridge back into the wet mop.
