Do the Ball Change Step in Step Aerobics

The ball change step is a popular dance movement used in jazz, hip hop, ballet dancing, Jazzercise, and regular and step aerobics. This movement is used as a transition, usually as a lead into a jump or spin or kick. The ball change is used in step aerobics to shift the weight from the forward leg to the rear leg. It’s often used to pivot or turn with both feet completely leaving the bench. In the ball change step, you are not placing the weight on your flat foot, but rather on the ball of your foot.
