Instructions

    • 1

Take the two cakes and cut them so that you have various sized rectangles. Freeze each section to make it easy to frost. When they are frozen, you can practice putting them together to give the illusion of a skyscraper.

    • 2

Build the skyscraper by putting cherry jam in between the layers, or you can use frosting. Use the skewers to attach the top two pieces, which should be cut thin and tall.

    • 3

Make grey frosting by adding gray food coloring to either homemade buttercream frosting or to a couple of cans of white frosting. Frost the outside of the cake.

    • 4

To make the windows for the skyscraper, break apart the Hershey bars. Make them different sizes and place them accordingly.

    • 5

Add as many action figures as you want. As a final touch, make a flag for the top of the skyscraper out of a skewer and a piece of construction paper. The flag should read, "Happy Birthday."
