The Canon XH A1 has a time and date function that allows you to display and categorize your recordings based on the time. Before you use this function, you have to set your time zone and current date and time. This article will tell you how to set the time and date on the XH A1.

Instructions

    How to Set the Date and Time on a Canon XH A1

  1. Step 1

    Press the menu button and turn the Select/Set button to system setup and press the dial. Select D/Time Set and then choose T.Zone/DST and press the dial.

  2. Step 2

    Turn the Select/Set dial to the option representing your time zone and press the dial.

  3. Step 3

    Select D/Time Set and press the dial. Turn the Select/Set dial to choose the first field of the date and press the dial. Repeat for other date fields.

  4. Step 4

    Repeat for time fields.

  5. Step 5

    Press the menu button to start the clock and close the menu.
