For the fake spin soccer trick, a player rolls the ball with one foot while spinning his hips and body. He sets himself up the same way as he would for a true spin trick, but halfway through, rolls the other way. This is a good way to "fake out" your opponent, sending one signal with your body while you prepare do do the opposite. Here's how to do a fake spin soccer trick.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Dribble the soccer ball close to your feet as you set up for the fake spin soccer trick.

  2. Step 2

Plant one foot next to the soccer ball and place the other foot on top of the ball.

  3. Step 3

Spin halfway around the ball, rotating your hips as if you'll follow through with the full movement as with a full soccer spin trick.

  4. Step 4

Switch directions quickly, throwing your weight back in the opposite direction and bringing the ball with you, dribbling with the foot that was planted on top of the ball.

  5. Step 5

Check to make sure your opponent is gone, and make a break for the goal or set up your next play.
