How to Do Neck Twists for Stiff Necks
Stiff necks can come after doing any activity or seemingly out of nowhere. There are many stretches and exercises that you can do to relive some of the tension and pain that a stiff neck can cause. There are also neck strengthening exercises that can be done that may help prevent any sitffness.

Sit upright with your legs crossed or in a butterfly position. Turn your head towards your right shoulder to the point of pressure. Hold this pose 5 seconds. Repeat 5 to 10 times.

Sitting upright in the same position, turn your heads toward your left shoulder to the point of pressure, but not pain. Hold this stretch 5 seconds. Repeat 5 to 10 times.

Maintaining the same seated position, bring your right ear down to your shoulder. Hold this pose 5 seconds. Repeat 5 to 10 times.

Keeping your back straight, legs crossed or in butterfly position, lower your left ear to your shoulder. Hold this stretch 5 seconds. Repeat 5 to 10 times.

Assuming the same position tilt your chin towards your chest, hold this pose 5 seconds. Repeat 5 to 10 times. Tilt your neck backwards as far as comfortably possible, hold this stretch 5 seconds. Repeat 5 to 10 times.
