Things You'll Need:
- Internet
- Library Card
-
Step 1
Visit the official Barack Obama website. The link is included in the resources section of the page. At the website, you will see a series of links. Click on the link labelled "Store". Stroll down until you see "Accessories and DVD's". Here you find several items of interest.
-
Step 2
If you want to find a comprehensive catalogue of Barack Obama speeches (from the campaign trail to the Democratic National Convention 2004) visit YouTube.
-
Step 3
Visit your local library. There, you will find speech transciptions, biography information and video footage of the 2008 primary election.
-
Step 4
Watch your local and cable news for sound bite and edited footage of current speeches given by Barack Obama on the campaign trail. To obtain video footage for download, visit the website of one of the leading authorities on national and international news: CNN, MSNBC or People's Chronicle--News and Business.
-
Step 5
Rely on family and friends. If you find a friend or friend of a friend, who has footage of an Obama rally, ask to borrow a copy of the footage (or ask him to make a copy for you to keep). Promise to download your favorite Barack Obama speech in return for the favor! You never know, your neighbor just might have attended the Democratic National Convention 2004, and has first row footage of the speech that made Barack Obama a household name.
