How to Make Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp
Brush butter on your shrimp and let marinate in the fridge for approximately 15 minutes. You can also add any favorite seasonings at this point if you desire, such as garlic or onion.
Warm a skillet over medium heat. While not necessary, you can use a cooking spray or oil on the skillet.
Place a strip of bacon for every shrimp and lightly cook. Don’t let the bacon stiffen or you won’t be able to complete the next step!
Remove the bacon from the skillet and the shrimp from the fridge. Wrap the bacon around the shrimp and pin it in place with a toothpick.
Place the bacon-wrapped shrimp on the grill and cook for 1to 2 minutes until done.
Tips & Warnings
- If the shrimp you’re cooking is small, you might have to cut the strips of bacon to a smaller size. If you don’t have a grill you can also cook the shrimp on the skillet.
- Always be careful when working around an open flame.
